There are plenty of side quests to pick up if you want to interact more with the people of Hyrule. If you just reached Rito Village, then you will want to take advantage of some of the available side quests. "Genli's Home Cooking" iconGenli’s Home Cooking is an easy task to complete, provided you know where to find the "Staminoka Bass" iconStaminoka Bass. The guide below goes over how to start Genli’s Homecooking and where to find a Staminoka Bass in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.

Speak to Genli in the General Good Store to start Genli’s Home Cooking.

Where to Find Staminoka Bass

While Rito may be under siege by a snowy blizzard, there are still a few side quests for you to pick up around the village. Genli’s Home Cooking can be obtained as soon as you speak to the group of children for the first time. They will drop a bit of lore about the skyship and then scurry off in different directions. Genli is near the General Store, and when you speak with her she will ask for a single Staminoka Bass for a cooking dish.

(1 of 3) You can find Staminoka Bass in the pond on the island next to Rito Village.

Depending on where you look, the Staminoka Bass can be rather hard to find. This is because it’s a slightly rarer fish. Luckily, they can be found right beside !Rito Village. There is a pond on the island right next to the village, just go across the bridge and look in it. You should be able to find two Staminoka Bass. Grab one and head back to the !General Store to speak with Genli. Give her the Staminoka Bass and she will give you a Biting Simmered Meat in return for completing the quest.
