The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Dalia's Game

By
Jarrod Garripoli

There are a number of Side Quests to be found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, spread out in various parts of the world. This will be another side quest that begins in Gerudo Town, with it being available after completing the Lightning Temple.

Where to Start Dalia’s Game in Tears of the Kingdom

(1 of 2) You will need to do this quest before getting the orb

You will need to do this quest before getting the orb (left), She will hide a sand seal in the shelter and you have to find it (right)

Dalia can be found in the town portion of the area, by the northeastern exit. However, she is not always there, so you will need to either go there in the early morning hours (around 6:00 AM), or during the late afternoon hours (around 5:00PM). It should be noted that this quest is related to "The Mysterious Eighth" iconThe Mysterious Eighth side quest, as Dalia is in possession of one of the orbs you need for that. If you try to take the orb prior to completing this quest, even is she isn’t there, you will be stopped by one of the other nearby NPCs.

Where to Find the Stuffed Sand Seal for Dalia’s Game in Tears of the Kingdom

Before Dalia will hand over the “treasured orb,” she will want to play a game with you. She will hide her stuffed sand seal inside the Gerudo Shelter, and you will need to find it within the time limit. There’s a few locations where she can hide it, and the place she picks is chosen at random. However, she will give you a clue while hiding it, so you will need to pay attention to what she says in order to find it.

Location 1

The location of the sand seal for the first option

“This is the way out of the shelter into some caves, and Mama says I’m not allowed there.” Make your way past the classroom, and into the area right before the statues of the heroines, which are part of The Mysterious Eighth side quest. There will be another opening that leads to the Valley of the Silent Statues area. Right by the doorway there will be the sand seal.

Location 2

The location of the sand seal for the second option

“Oops, my feet got all wet! Oh well.” Should you get this sand seal, you will find it in the little training area. This is also the area where you found one of the stele for "The Heroines' Secret" iconThe Heroines’ Secret (where you broke some rocks). It will be found in the little pool of water, by the mural that "Riju" iconRiju was looking at during the one main story bit.

Location 3

The location of the sand seal for the third option

“Did this stuff belong to the soldiers? Gotta brace myself…and…push!” This one is in the same area as the “wet” clue. On the one side are some dummies with targets on them, and nearby is a shelf built into the wall. The sand seal will be on the shelf.

Location 4

The location of the sand seal for the fourth option

“He’ll never think to look by the bed.” You will find this in the sleeping area, which is just past the jail. It’s not the little area where you go down, but the bigger opening. Look in the back of the room, on the floor by the bed with the hand-drawn map on the wall.

Whichever one you get, find the sand seal in that spot and just grab it (by hand or using "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand) to finish the quest. The first time you play this minigame, you will be given the "Gerudo Orb" iconGerudo Orb you saw by Dalia. If you choose to play this minigame again, you will receive either a "Voltfruit" iconVoltfruit or "Palm Fruit" iconPalm Fruit, as a reward.
