This page offers a guide on how to complete "The Blocked Well" iconThe Blocked Well side adventure, found in Gerudo Canyon Stable in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Blocked Well Side Adventure.

This is one of 12 Lucky Clover Gazette side adventures that are found by interacting with different NPCs at various stables. Before you can access any of these stable side adventures (including this one), you’ll have to speak to "Traysi" iconTraysi at the Lucky Clover Gazette outside Rito Village in the Hebra Region. You can head over to our page on All Lucky Clover Gazette side quests for more information!

How to Start The Blocked Well

This side quest can be started by heading over to Gerudo Canyon Stable (Map Marker). You’ll need to speak to "Penn" iconPenn, who can be found near the well to the left of the stable. He will tell you that Zelda has blocked off the well and this has had a detrimental effect on the business of the stable.

The well is off-limits on Zelda’s orders.

How to Clear out The Blocked Well

After speaking with Penn, you’ll want to drop down into Gerudo Canyon Well and swim over to the breakable rocky wall. You can use a bomb flower, a bomb device or a boulder/rock fused weapon to smash through the rocks. On the other side of the rocky wall, you’ll find a group of "Lizalfos" iconLizalfos. You’ll want to take them out however you see fit and then turn your attention to the "Like Like" iconLike Like on the wall. To kill this guy, you’ll want to use some sort of status effect like "Bomb Flower" iconBomb Flowers or lightning damage. When it’s temporarily incapacitated, shoot at its core to do extra damage. When it dies, it’ll drop a chest containing a powerful "Gerudo Shield" iconGerudo Shield that has 28 defense.

(1 of 3) First destroy this rock wall.

hen you’ve cleared the enemies from the middle of the room, head up the slope to find another camouflaged Lizalfos. This guy is pretty strong and has lightning damage attacks so you’ll want to avoid being caught in his close range melee attacks. Once he’s dead, Penn will call you back up and you’ll finish the quest. You’ll earn some Rupees based on how many Lucky Clover Gazette quests you’ve already completed.

Don’t forget to head back into the well to collect any dropped items! There’s also an area at the back of the well that contains loads of different mushroom variants!

The Lizalfos enemy at the back is strong.
