By
Jessica Dillon

There are plenty of side quests to pick up when you start your adventure in Hyrule. Some quests are harder than others, as is the case with !Gleeok Guts. This quest sends you to take down one of the toughest enemies in the game, and most players won’t be able to complete it until they get a decent armor set and make preparations before the fight. The guide below goes over how to start !Gleeok Guts and gives you a bit of information about where to find the closest Gleeok to Malena.

Speak with Malena in Gerudo to start the side quest Gleeok Guts.

Where to Get Gleeok Guts For Malena

You will be able to start !Gleeok Guts by finding Malena and her husband south of the Gerudo Canyon Well. They will be at a tent and should be easy to spot. Malena will ask you to bring her Gleeok Guts for her husband’s medicine, starting the !Gleeok Guts quest. Gleeoks are one of the toughest enemies in the game, so while you can pick this quest up early on, you should wait until you have decent weapons to try and finish it. You will also need to have hot and cold-weather armor to survive in the desert environment.

(1 of 3) You will need to defeat a Gleeok to get Gleeok Guts.

The closest Gleeok to Malena is near Spectacle Rock in the Gerudo Region. There is a "Flame Gleeok" iconFlame Gleeok here so you will need to bring items with you that won’t burn up during combat. In addition, bringing "Keese Eyeball" iconKeese Eyeballs with you can help to stun the Gleeok. For a full guide on how to defeat Flame Gleeoks click here. Once you are done, pick up the Gleeok Guts and take them back to Malena. For your trouble she will give you a "Gold Rupee" iconGold Rupee, making this one of the best-paying side quests in the game.
