How to Use Fuse in Tears of the Kingdom

Fuse is one of the abilities that you learn on the Great Sky Island, which is pretty much the prologue of the game. Whenever you have a weapon or shield equipped, find an item on the ground and select the Fuse ability. Note that you can also go into your inventory, select to Hold an item, then drop it on the ground. With the item on the ground, press the designated button to either fuse it with your equipped weapon or shield. Depending on the item used, it might change your weapon’s look, or even give it different properties. The item used will also give the weapon and/or shield more power, with the item having a power rating on it.

Best Fusions for Weapons in Tears of the Kingdom

When you first learn about fusion, you’re not going to be getting a lot of choices, in terms of items, so you’re stuck with like rocks and other basic weapons. As you play through the game, though, those choices will begin to increase and you’ll be able to create some powerful weapons with this ability.

Best Fusions for Shields in Tears of the Kingdom

Shields are for more than just blocking enemy hits, as you can fuse a lot of things to them that can turn them into weapons. Shields have a lot of synergy with Zonai objects, so it’s good to get a good stockpile of them from the various dispensers. !Rocket Shields are by far one of the best combinations.

Best Fusions for Arrows in Tears of the Kingdom

In order to fuse an item to your arrow, you first need to have your bow equipped and out as your current weapon. From there, press Up on the D-Pad, then cycle left and right for the wanted item.
