The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

How to Complete The Incomplete Stable in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

By
Ben Chard

As you progress your adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll gradually unlock more and more useful features. Lookout Landing serves as the hub for a lot of this and as you complete each of the various Temples, you’ll unlock more Side Quests. This page will give you all the details on when you can start and finish the Incomplete Stable Side Quest.

Completing The Incomplete Stable will reward you with your own mini stable at Lookout Landing.

How to Begin The Incomplete Stable in TOTK

Before you can even begin this Side Quest, you’ll have to progress through the adventure until you’ve completed at least two Temples. For most players, this will be the Wind Temple and the Water Temple as they’re most likely the easiest of the bunch (and you unlock some important features by heading to Rito Village first).

Once this is wrapped up, head back to "Lookout Landing" iconLookout Landing to find Karson near the south gate to learn that they’re trying to build a stable for people to use at Lookout Landing.

How to Repair the Roof in Lookout Landing

There’s not much to the quest at this point, it’s as simple as you may be expecting. Simply go behind the makeshift stable and you’ll find a plank of wood. Switch to "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand and grab it, then rotate it until it fits snugly into the gap of the roof, thus completing it.

Your reward for the completion of this short Side Quest is the opening of a "Mini Stable" iconMini Stable in Lookout Landing. Although you may not get all the features of a regular Stable (let’s be honest, you can rest for free here anyway), you’ll still be able to register any "Horse" iconHorses and take them out. This is invaluable as it’s the only such stable in the Hyrule Field sub-region, preventing you from heading to stables further afield should you want to ride around these spacious plains.
