The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Sage's Will Locations in Tears of the Kingdom

By
Jacob Woodward

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’re going to be hunting for a plethora of different items to aid Link in his endeavours. One particular pick up that isn’t a weapon, shield, or armour set, but is equally important is the "Sage's Will" iconSage’s Will, which directly impacts the potency of a certain set of allies.

Below, we’ll detail exactly what the use of a Sage’s Will is as well as each of their locations since there are quite a few to uncover, with the game giving you no indication as to where to go.

What Are Sage’s Will in Tears of the Kingdom?

If you have picked up a Sage’s Will already, and are pretty early on in the Tears of the Kingdom experience, you’ll likely be pretty confused as to what to do with it. However, as previously stated, these key items are pretty important as they enhance each of the companions that you acquire from completing the Temples.

Once you do complete a Temple, you will be joined by said companions that can be summoned and dismissed as you please, allowing you to utilise their powers to aid you in your adventures. Using Sage’s Will on each of these will make their abilities that bit stronger, helping you in combat depending on which you have summoned to follow you. This is done by taking 4 Sage’s Will to a "Goddess Statue" iconGoddess Statue, similar to that of Blessings of !Light

What Sage’s Will don’t do is enhance their abilities such as Tulin’s wind power which is a little disappointing, but kind of makes sense as they could become incredibly overpowered for exploration.

Where to Find Sage’s Will in Tears of the Kingdom

There are a total of 20 Sage’s Will to collect in Tears of the Kingdom which doesn’t seem like a lot when compared to the likes of Korok Seeds, but are certainly a bit more of a pain to get to. This is because they only reside in the Sky section of the map, which is obviously awkward to travel around since the islands are so spread apart, requiring you to either fast travel to different points or head down to the surface and back up again.

However, with that being said, we have sourced all of the Sage’s Will locations for you so you can at least have a head start on collecting them and maybe even plan a speed running route. These all also have coordinates directly to them so you can easily check them off as you progress.
