!The Beast and the Princess.

Penn has heard rumors that some have seen Princess Zelda riding a mountainous beast with brutal tusks. These sightings come from all over but seem to happen more in the subtropical region in the south. You may learn the truth behind these rumors stables from the travelers who gather there.

How to Start The Beast and the Princess Side Adventure

In order to start this Side Adventure you’ll want to head over to "New Serenne Stable" iconNew Serenne Stable (Map Marker) found west of "Hyrule Castle" iconHyrule Castle in the "Central Hyrule" iconCentral Hyrule Region. Speak to "Penn" iconPenn outside the stable and he’ll inform you that Zelda has been spotted riding around on a huge tusked beast. He says you can learn more by speaking to people staying at stables in the subtropical region to the south.

Head down to Faron, the subtropical region in the south.

The Beast and the Princess: Where to Find the Beast

The region in question is "Faron" iconFaron, and the stable you’ll need to travel to is "Lakeside Stable" iconLakeside Stable (Map Marker) found near "Lake Floria" iconLake Floria. When you head over there, speak with the stable hand, Shay, who can be found under a wooden gazebo near the cliff edge. He’ll tell you about how a woman called Cima is looking after some unusual animals on the other side of the river. Once you’ve finished speaking with him, paraglide over to the other side and speak with Cima.

There is a sanctuary for unusual beasts across the river.

After speaking with her, you’ll learn that the whole rumor was a big misunderstanding and Zelda had actually just been looking after these Dondon beasts who are entirely harmless and not at all ferocious looking. Penn will fly over and this will conclude the quest. You will receive a Rupees reward based on how many quests you’ve completed for the Lucky Clover Gazette!

Zelda helped Cima set up a Dondon Sanctuary.
