There are quite a few sets of armor to choose from in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. Many of these will be different depending on what situation you find Link in. The Radiant Set is especially good if you are looking to sneak around enemies, but chances are you won’t know where to find it straight away. The guide below goes over where to find the Radiant armor set, how much it costs, and how to upgrade it.

Where To Get The Radiant Armor Set

The Radiant armor set gives Link doesn’t seem to have much of a use. It will gain the Bone Weap effect after being upgraded though, and Disguise, making it useful for getting around enemies unnoticed. The set can only be found in Kakariko Village at the armor shop. When you first arrive, though. You will likely find that this armor set is a bit high as each piece costs. 5,000 Rupees. This price can be brought down by going on a side quest in the game called Gloom-Borne Illness, which deals with the shop owner. The quest is short to run through, and if you need help, you can check out our guide here. Once the price is brought down, you will only need to pay 800 Rupees per piece, totaling 2,400 Rupees in all.

You can go ahead and buy the set if you have the Rupees when you first arrive in the village. After you complete the side quest, you will be refunded for the difference by the shop owner.

How to Upgrade The Radiant Armor Set

To upgrade the Radiant armor set, you will need to unlock the Great Fairies that have hidden away. Afterward, you will have the option to upgrade the Radiant Armor in exchange for Rupees and monster drops. Like most sets that can be upgraded, the Radiant armor gains an additional ability. They get stronger with each piece of armor you are wearing. Upgrading the Radiant armor, it will give you the abilities of Bone Weap and Disguise. This allows you to move around Stal monsters or skeleton monsters without being detected. In addition, when using a weapon made from bones, Link will get a damage bonus.

The chart below goes over what you need to pay to upgrade the set fully. Remember that you will need to pay each level three times, as there are three pieces of armor in the Radiant set.

Keep in mind that to level each piece to 20, you will need to unlock all four Great Fairies around Hyrule. They can be found in all four corners of the region, with the first being located near Pico Pond in Eldin.
