Send Dag to Valhalla or Deny Dag Valhalla?

Once you’ve defeated Dag at the end of the settlement quest A Brewing Storm, you’ll need to decide whether to give him his axe and send him to Valhalla, or deny him his axe, and by extension, Valhalla. This choice has potentially significant consequences for the main story and whether you get a good or a bad ending with Sigurd, so you’ll want to choose wisely.

Give Dag his axe¶

If you choose to give Dag his axe, you will send him to Valhalla and Sigurd will be grateful later in the main story. We strongly recommend you do this if you want to achieve the best ending with Sigurd.

Deny Dag his axe¶

If you deny Dag his axe, Sigurd won’t be happy with this decision later in the story, and this could contribute to a bad ending with him.
