This quest begins immediately after Blood from a Stone. You’ll need to travel to Eatun Barn, located south of Leah Villa Garrison, or just east of Oxeneforda (as shown below).
When you arrive at the outskirts of Eatun Barn, use your raven to scout the area. You’ll find Fulke speaking with a man in the grounds of the farm. Approach them both to begin a cutscene, during which you’ll need to convince the man to hand over the supplies. You can do this by offering him 130 silver, fight him, or charm him (requires at least Charisma level 2). We recommend choosing the last option for an entertaining scene.
Ambush the Saxons
However you deal with the man, once it’s done you’ll be tasked with moving some fire pots to the main road. You can arrange them in any way that you want. When you hear Fulke howl, join her on the clifftop to the south. You can do as she suggests and wait on the hanging branch, or place yourself wherever you want. The soldiers will be incoming along the road to the southwest. The important thing here is that all of them are killed.
Note: If you fail to place all the fire pots on the road before Fulke howls, don’t fret. In truth, you don’t need to place any of them on the road for the quest to proceed. You just need to kill the soldiers by any means necessary when they arrive.
When the soldiers arrive, spring the trap by shooting the fire pots. If you want to kill most of the soldiers with the fire in one shot, shoot it when all the soldiers are within range of most of the fire pots. If you don’t catch any of them with the fire, don’t worry. Just jump down and finish them off. As soon as you engage in combat Fulke will begin to attack. When all the soldiers are dead, follow Fulke to the clifftop and speak with her. She’ll ask you a question regarding Sigurd, but how you respond is entirely up to you. It won’t influence the story in any significant way. When the conversation ends, the quest will complete.
Destroy Supply Carts
When you’re done with the quest, you can destroy the supply carts by shooting at the fire pots beside them, or throwing your torch on them. This will contribute to the progress bar marking the weakening of Eadwyn’s forces, as part of the Chipping Away quest.
