How to Begin A Fated Encounter DLC

By
Scott Peers

This page details how to begin the A Fated Encounter DLC and crossover quests in AC Valhalla, including where to find Edyt in Ravensthorpe and how to reach the Isle of Skye.

A Fated Encounter: How to Reach the Isle of Skye

There are two main requirements that you’ll need to fulfil before you can speak with Edyt and travel to the Isle of Skye. First, you’ll need to reach settlement level 4. Second, you’ll need to build Valka’s Hut. Once you’ve done these two things (in no particular order), you can visit Valka’s hut to find and speak with a woman named Edyt. This forms part of the quest A Distorted Dream, which is the first of six main quests associated with the Isle of Skye. Head west from Valka’s Hut to find Edyt’s small camp, and speak with her to begin a cutscene.

The scene with Valka and Edyt will briefly introduce you to the problems the Isle of Skye has been facing, with its people being plagued by nightmares to the point of madness. Valka thinks Eivor is the perfect person to investigate. Valka is concerned that the nightmares may eventually spread to Ravensthorpe, and she also believes that somehow, Randvi may be involved, or even responsible for the nightmares. You can choose between two dialogue options in response to this, but it doesn’t matter which one you go for. The outcome will be the same. After the brief exchange of words, you can travel to the Isle of Skye by speaking with Edyt.
