Basilica Ruins Anomaly

By
Scott Peers

The Basilica Ruins Anomaly can be found in the southeast of Lincolnscire, northeast of the Cruwland synchronization point.

Basilica Ruins Anomaly, Lincolnscire.

How to Complete the Basilica Ruins Anomaly

This is a relatively small anomaly in terms of structure, but there’s a lot of projector and reflector moving required to reach the highest point. As you begin the anomaly you’ll see a projector on a small platform to the left. Interact with this and project the beam at the reflector to its right. Now go to the projector on the small platform where you just reflected the beam, and turn this to the left so that it projects toward the prism in the centre of the anomaly. After this, climb up the stable platform to the right of the prism and interact with the reflector so that it projects the beam to the unstable structure to the right of the prism (and below it).

Now that the unstable structure to the right of the prism is stable, climb it to the top of the stable structure above it and use the reflector to aim at the oblong unstable structure next to it. You can now jump along this structure and on to the obelisk-like platforms with red blocks running through them. You’ll need to time your jumps correctly along the obelisk platforms to avoid the red blocks, and keep in mind that to reach the top of the last obelisk, there will be an extra climb animation which will increase the time it takes to jump to the end. You’ll have to factor this in as you time your jumps.

(1 of 5) Project the beam from the projector on the small platform to the one behind it.

Once you’ve reached the reflector at the end of the obelisks, direct it at the unstable structure below the oblong structure that you just walked across. You can now jump down to the reflector on the platform beneath you (heading toward the prism reflector, not the smaller one to the right of the red block). Once there, project the beam from the reflector to the other reflector that you just used. You can now jump down and climb the unstable structure beneath the oblong structure, which has now been made permanently stable.

Hop back along the obelisk structures to the reflector that you just directed a beam to. You can now use this to project the beam at the tall unstable structure above you, toward the highest point of the anomaly. Now jump back down to the platform next to the red block and project the beam from this reflector to the unstable structure beneath the oblong structure. Climb this structure again and project the beam from here at the other tall unstable structure above you. Finally, climb the stable structure near the red block and project this beam toward the reflector which is connected to the tallest unstable structure above it.

The unknown voices should trigger at this point, indicating that you have completed the correct alignment of the reflectors. The path from here is simple: all you need to do is climb the ruins until you reach the tallest structures, and follow the hand holds to the highest point where the anomaly can be found.

(1 of 5) Climb back to the reflector at the end of the obelisks and aim the beam to the tall unstable structure above you.
