How to Activate the Feast Buff

Scott Peers
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page details everything you need to know about how to activate and use the Feast Buff from the Ravensthorpe settlement in AC Valhalla.

What is the Feast Buff?

The Feast Buff may seem like a relatively minor feature at first, but it can provide some significant boosts to your stats as your settlement grows. You won’t be able to host a feast which can provide a boost to your stats without first building a structure which is listed as being able to improve the Feast Buff. These include the following:

Building Feast Buff Required Settlement Level
Bakery +25 Health Level 2 - Colony
Brewery +25 Health Level 2 - Colony
Cattle Farm +3.0 Ranged Damage Level 3 - Hamlet
Grain Farm +3.0 Armor Level 3 - Hamlet
Fowl Farm +3.0 Melee Damage Level 3 - Hamlet
Alvis and Holger’s House +3.8 Assassination Damage Level 3 - Hamlet
Kari’s House +3.8 Assassination Damage Level 4 - Borough
Mayda’s House +3.8 Assassination Damage Level 4 - Borough

In addition to the above improvements to the Feast Buff, you will be able to upgrade the Cattle Farm, Grain Farm, and Fowl Farm three times at settlement levels 4, 5 and 6. This will further increase the buff associated with the building as shown in the table above. For a full list of settlement buildings and their associated levels, see Settlement Levels & Buildings.

How to use the Feast Buff in Ravensthorpe

Using the Feast Buff is extremely simple, but it does come at the cost of some silver. The cost will vary based on the amount of buildings you have constructed which provide improvements to the Feast Buff, but it should be no more than 100 silver. All you need to do is approach the longhouse from the main entrance and look to your right just before you enter. Here you will find a bell which prompts you to ‘Start Feast’ when you near it. Interact with the bell to see the cost in silver for the feast, and a list of stat boosts that you will receive at the end of it.

When you begin the feast, a brief cutscene will play during which you’ll see some of the members of your settlement feasting. At the end of the cutscene you can open your inventory and find a new icon at the top right of the screen, just above your bag. Hover over this icon for an overview of the stat boosts that you have received, and how long they will last.

(1 of 4) You can inspect the sign in front of buildings to see exactly what stat they can boost with the Feast Buff.
