How to Find Angrboda’s House
After the events leading up to the fight with the Builder, Havi visits Jotunheim in search of answers. When you arrive, you’ll need to head northwest to find Angrboda. You’ll need to look toward the house from the stone platform, facing west, in order to see through the illusions and view the house properly. Once you see the house, climb the steps and enter it to begin a cutscene. You’ll have a few dialogue options, but choose as you wish.
How to Find the Waterfall
After the scene you’ll need to find and enter the waterfall to gather the roots that Angrboda spoke of. You’ll find it to the southwest of her house. When you reach the area you won’t be able to see the waterfall initially. You’ll need to read the inscription on the large stone altar to the south of the circle, then turn around to see the waterfall beneath you. Once you dive in, you’ll find yourself in a cave system. Follow it through until you reach a large chamber. Turn north in here and follow the stone path westward until you see a passage entrance leading north. Go through here to another chamber, where you’ll find one of the roots. Be sure to use Odin’s Sight if you need to identify them in the dark.
Once you have the route from the northern chamber, turn back to the main chamber and follow the tree branches southward. This will lead to another small chamber where you’ll find another root. Now continue westward to another small chamber, which you’ll need to swim through some water to reach. You’ll find a third root in here. Now that you have all three roots, climb the tree branches back to the main chamber, and exit through the crack in the rock to the west. You can now return to the Heart of the Wood and give the roots to Angrboda. A cutscene will begin here and you’ll have a few dialogue options, but it doesn’t matter which you choose.
After the cutscene you’ll find yourself sliding down an ice hill. Another cutscene will begin once you reach the bottom, after which the quest will end.
