How to Start The Road to Valhalla¶

This quest becomes available once you have completed the following story arcs from the alliance map at the longhouse in Ravensthorpe:

• The Kingmaker’s Saga
• The Song of Soma
• The Tale of Thegn Oswald
• The Paladin’s Stone
• The City of War
• The Book of Dragons
• The Instrument of the Ancients
• A Breviary of Broken Hearts
• The Lay of Hunwald
• The Siege of Portcestre
• The City of Greed
• The Sayings of Halfdan
• A Tale of Wicker-Fire
• The Tale of Two Jarls
• The City of Faith

Once you’ve completed all of the above story arcs, you will find that you can finally speak with Sigurd again. You should find him in his room in the longhouse, close to Randvi and the alliance map. Sigurd will mention that it is time for him to leave, and he wants you to accompany him to Norway. Eivor is uncertain, and wants to speak with Randvi about it first.

When you speak with Randvi, you won’t actually have the option to prompt a specific dialogue. Instead, ask to see the alliance map and then pledge to Hordafylke, which can be found at the bottom right of the map, next to Vinland. After pledging to Hordafylke, meet Sigurd at the docks in Ravensthorpe and travel with him to Norway to complete the quest.
