All Power of Rebirth Upgrades

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on all Power of Rebirth Upgrades in the Dawn of Ragnarök DLC.

Whilst this power is active, your weapon is set ablaze and it can also set enemies on fire. It will also cause some dead enemies to be temporarily resurrected and fight beside you - this unfortunately excludes boss enemies! Below, you’ll find the upgrades available for the Power of Rebirth, which can be upgraded at a Blacksmith found in any Dwarven shelter.

Instant Horde

When equipped and activated, the Instant Horde upgrade will automatically resurrect dead bodies (not boss enemies) in a 10 meter radius. They will also fight on your behalf! This upgrade is also required for the Carpe Diem mystery.

This upgrade costs x5 Silica and x20 Living Sparks.

Shield of the Draugr

The Shield of Draugr upgrade allows you to decrease damage taken by 20%. It will also allow you to land attacks even when being hit by enemy attacks. That being said, even though the attacks don’t interrupt you, they will still damage you so be careful!

This upgrade costs x5 Silica and x20 Living Sparks.

The Shield of the Draugr upgrade decreases incoming damage by 20%.

How to Get Silica

Silica is a material obtained from Silica towers found exclusively in raiding locations. You’ll need to summon your raiding party to obtain the silica and you can either do this via your tool wheel once you’re at the destination, or by sailing into the raiding location’s docking area.

Collect silica to upgrade your hugr-rip.

How to Get Living Sparks

Living Sparks are a material occasionally dropped by Muspel enemies. They’re a pretty rare drop but you are guaranteed to get some from Flame Keeper elite enemies. The best way to get Living Sparks is to do a lot of raiding and defeat a lot of Muspel enemies and especially keep an eye out for Flame Keepers - you shouldn’t have too much of an issue obtaining them since Flame Keepers are reasonably common.

Living Sparks are dropped by Flame Keeper elite enemies and occasionally dropped by normal Muspel enemies too!
