This quest begins immediately after Glory Regained.
Assault on Ravensburg
From Grantebridge, head southwest toward the small fort of Ravensburg. If you’ve activated the synchronization point at Black Peak, about halfway between Grantebridge and Ravensburg, you’ll cut some time by using it. Otherwise you’ll need to cross the river southwest of Granteburg. Speak with Birna northeast of Ravensburg to learn of her plan. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask her why she joined Soma’s clan, and what she thinks of Soma’s inner circle. When the conversation ends, approach the walls of Ravensburg with Birna, while her warriors wait behind.
The main objective here is to eliminate all the guards within Ravensburg. You can choose to do this stealthily, or you can charge the front gates. Either way, there will be a lot of guards to get through, and there are some more deadly than others. In particular, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a Marksman, which have the ability to use fire arrows. If you do get hit, perform a quick roll to put the fire out swiftly. The Marksman will drop a key for Ravensburg, which will come in handy later, so be sure to loot it. If you choose to assault the settlement with Birna’s warriors, try to stay by their side to ensure that you can revive them when they fall. When all the guards are dead you’ll be able to speak with Birna and complete the quest.
After finishing the quest, before you leave Ravensburg you should explore it for loot. You’ll find two chests of minor treasure, along with a unique ability and a unique piece of armor. The ability can be found in a house at the top of the fort, access to which is granted by use of the key which you acquired from the Marksman earlier. The Book of Knowledge within grants you the Rush & Bash ability, which can be useful for tackling enemies and throwing them into objects or off the edge of battlements. The armor piece can be found in a hut just north of the house where you found the Book of Knowledge, and provides you with the Huntsman Armor, a Superior Torso. All that remains is a small treasure chest just east of this hut, and another in a house to the southwest. Be sure to use Odin’s Vision to highlight their precise location if necessary.
