Rude Awakening: What to Say to King Harald¶
After raiding Nottfall during Rude Awakening, you’ll meet King Harald. When he offers his men to assist you in defeating Kjotve the Cruel, you’ll have three options:
“We have common cause.”¶
This results in King Harald’s approval, and his warriors will join you in the assault on Kjotve’s Fortress.
“We don’t need your men.”¶
This will displease both King Harald and Sigurd, but King Harald’s warriors will still join you in the assault.
“What’s in it for you?”¶
King Harald will make it clear that he wants the war to end, and that it will end all the sooner with his help. This results in his warriors joining you in the assault.
