How to Save Colborn (Dwarf in Distress)¶
This Dwarf in Distress quest is found north of Skidgardr or across the river to the southeast of Hvergelmir Mylma. Colborn - the dwarf in question - is being held captive in a small Muspel camp. You’ll need to take out the Muspels and then unlock Colborn’s cage to rescue him. There’s one elite Muspel, one elite Beserkr and several other Muspel enemies. You’ll want to focus your attention on the 2 elite enemies as they can be pretty brutal and do a bunch of damage if you don’t dodge. The normal Muspel enemies are mostly just nuisances as they will shoot at you with fiery arrows from a distance and pester you whilst you take down the melee enemies.
In the camp, you’ll come across a Muspel elite enemy
and a Beserkr elite enemy, as well as several other lower Muspels.
When you speak to Colburn after his rescue, he’ll tell you to come meet him next time you’re in Grenhellir Shelter. Speak to him there to receive a reward.
Upon being rescued, he’ll also offer you a clue about the whereabouts of Suttungr’s Outrider Vesalligr.
